The engagement starts from a decision the operator has to make again: a forecast, a score, a feed, or an action that should not fire on its own. The work is to turn that into a system that can be run a second time, with the miss left visible.

The domain changes with the client. The published studies cover a national housing forecast, a commercial-real-estate recovery score, commodity and equity-index futures research, a news intake, a bet log, and a trading decision that is not allowed to send itself. The standard stays the same. Inputs are point-in-time. The result can be compared with what later happened. A person, or one service, is in charge of any action.
